Mel Gibson, Jon Voight, And Sylvester Stallone Appointed Trump As Hollywood Ambassadors

JAKARTA - Three actors: Mel Gibson, Sylvester Stallone, Jon Voight were appointed by the elected President of the United States, Donald Trump as a special Hollywood ambassador. This determination aims to bring back the Hollywood business side which is considered to have been brought to other countries.

"It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone as special ambassadors for a good but very problematic place, Hollywood, California," Trump said in Truth Social.

"They will serve as special parties for me with the aim of bringing Hollywood who have lost a lot of business over the past four years to foreign countries, back to greater, better, and stronger than ever!" he said.

Trump thinks these three actors have talent for Hollywood so they can make this plan a success.

These three talents will be my eyes and ears and I will do what they suggest. Again, like the United States, Golden Age from Hollywood, Trump said.

However, it seems that these ambassadors are not very aware of this appointment. Mel Gibson admitted that he had just learned about this news from following Trump's account.

"I got a tweet at the same time as you and was surprised. I heeded the call. My job as a citizen is to provide whatever assistance and insight I can. Is there a possibility that the position will be accompanied by the residence of the Ambassador?" Gibson told Variety.

In addition, the three actors are Trump supporters who voiced their support on various occasions. Gibson even voiced Trump against Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.

Mel Gibson was boycotted for his antisemitic comments and directed his latest film Flight Risk. Sylvester Stallone starred in the drama King, as well as Jon Voight last acting in Francis' Megalopolis film Ford Coppola.
