JAKARTA - Two social media platforms, X and Bluesky, have launched a special video feature in response to TikTok's continuing uncertainty. This move appears to be a strategy to take advantage of situations where TikTok is still facing legal and operational challenges in the United States.
In the X app, the new play button icon launches, allowing users to access a continuous video feed that looks very similar to TikTok. Meanwhile, Bluesky offers a special feed for customizable andpinable videos by users according to preferences.
The official announcement from X was released via the company's Twitter account, accompanied by a short video demonstration.

The new play button is located at the bottom of the app, between the Grok button and the notification.

The second step of this platform is clearly a response to TikTok's future uncertainty. Over the weekend, TikTok is still not available in US app stores, although President Donald Trump has promised to grant a 90-day ban suspension.
