Bahlil Ngadu To Prabowo There Are Still 6,700 Unelectric Hamlets

JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia revealed that until now there are still some Indonesians who have not had access to electricity. Halmini revealed that Bahlil was in the hope that President Prabowo Subianto would inaugurate the Jatigede hydropower plant in Sumedang.

In Bahlil's report, there are 340 sub-districts or 6,700 hamlets that have not had access to electricity.

"More or less if converted to the household spirit, it is approximately 1.3 million households," said Bahlil, Monday, January 20.

The chairman of the Golkar Party said that the budget needed to electrify the entire hamlet was IDR 48 trillion within 5 years.

"We believe that God willing, what the President directs if we can do this, we can make it happen," he continued.

Bahlil also revealed that he received reports from people in the Outermost, Frontier, and Disadvantaged (3T) areas regarding electricity. Bahlil said, although the community was quite satisfied with the electrical conditions during Christmas and New Year's ago, there were still people who complained about the limited access to electricity.

"They said that yesterday at the end of the year the service was good but it would be even better, sir, if the electricity is only 3 hours on, it must increase to 6 hours, the 6 hours on, it must make 24 hours, there is no electricity, they want them to be on, sir," said Bahlil.

Not only from the 3T area, but Bahlil also admitted that he received a report from the Governor of the Elect of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, who complained that there were still some villages in West Java that had not yet received electricity.

"It turns out that in West Java there are also hamlets that have some electricity. This is a message from the Elected Governor, Sir, Gerindra Cadre," said Bahlil.
