Mercedes-Benz S-Class Will Come In Two Doors, This Is What It Looks Like

JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz is one of the many automotive brands preparing the latest model this year, one of which is the couple version of the S-Class carrying a two-door style proposed by its trademark to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

Launching from Car and Driver, Monday, January 20, the document shows this luxury car image carrying the two-door configuration offered in AMG's high performance version and ultra-luxury type from Mercedes-Maybach.

The image shows there is a typical double M Maybach logo with split rear window. Then the back takes inspiration from the concept of Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury.

The rest, the Maybach S-Class Coupe type has no difference with the four doors. However, the last pillar looks more sloping wrapped in the black-and-white exterior color typical of this brand.

Meanwhile, the AMG version features a more sporting front with more aggressive air-intake and a similar grip to C 63 Coupe. The bottom of the front bumper is also designed more aerodynamically to optimize more exciting driving like other high-performance models.

Unlike other versions of the S-Class, the back is equipped with a diffuser and a large quad exhaust. In the image, AMG S-Class Coupe features a two-tone color of enchanting black and white combinations.

Thus, this model will join other two-door AMG cars such as GT Coupe and CLE Coupe in the ranks of high-performance Mercedes models.

Although the technical specifications are not stated, it is estimated that the AMG version of the S-Class will be equipped with the same engine as the S 63 E Performance which has a 4.0 liter V8 M177 biturbo engine which combines electric motors with 603 hp and 900 Nm torque so that they can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in 3.3 seconds.

Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Coupe is also expected to be available in a 6-cylinder option combined with a 362-hp electric motor, then a 496-hp power V8, and the highest with a V12 engine with 603 hp.
