BYD Reportedly Will Present Advanced ADAS Technology For All Its Electric Cars
JAKARTA - The automotive giant from China, BYD, is rumored to be presenting Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) smart driving technology, for all its ranks by 2025.
Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Monday, January 20, not only vehicles that play in the medium to premium segments, cars such as the Seagull model are also reported to be getting the technology.
As is known, the central-based car manufacturer in Shenzhen is unmatched in the sale of electric vehicles both in China and globally, but lags behind in terms of software or the ADAS system.
There are only a few BYD modes embedded with advanced technology, especially for high-end models. However, based on reports from local media 36kr, later all models will be embedded with this smart technology, either from DJI or Huawei drones.
"The company is ready to send self-developed ADAS algorithms to all levels of its models, starting from Seagull and Yangwang," the report reads.

Previously BYD had formed a team to develop smart driving software consisting of 1,300 people since 2023, and the company invested incredible numbers.
The team formed is focused on developing smart driving in urban City Navigate on Autopilot (CNOA) and smart driving on the Highway Navigate of Autopilot (HNOA) highway.
"If BYD manages to embed ASIS on its electric car lineup by 2025 as planned, this will be a good thing," the report reads.
It is not explained whether this step is also intended for a global model, as well as only the local Chinese market. Globally, of course, it will be an interesting thing to wait for. Especially in Indonesia, where this brand already has four mainstay models, including the M6 electricity MPV.
