Barcelona Dominsi But Failed To Win, Flick Coach Disappointed

Flick, further, said that Barca should have been able to turn off Getafe in the first half. But there is no chance that can be converted. In addition, players make many basic mistakes such as providing inaccurate passes.

"I say over and over that we had chances [scoring goals], especially in the first half. It's just that in the next half we were accuracy in passing down," said the former Bayern Munich coach.

"The atmosphere in the stadium is also extraordinary and full of emotions. I have never experienced experiences like this before. This is indeed a new thing for me. But I will get used to it," he said.

The draw made Barca fail to close points with his two top teams, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. Now, they are pocketing 39 points. Barca are still five points adrift of Atletico who are at the top of the standings. Meanwhile, Madrid, who are in second place, have 43 points.

"If only we could add goals in this match. Unfortunately, I can't do anything. And we have to accept that result," said Flick.

Even though he is disappointed, the former coach of the German national team is still optimistic that Barca will be able to compete for the league title.

"The competition is still long and we will fight until the end to win the league. We did lose two points, but we have to stand tall and improve ourselves to move forward," he said.
