Start Cleaning Glodok Plaza Fire Prison, Manager: To Operate Quickly

JAKARTA - The Glodok Plaza manager began cleaning up the debris of material affected by the fire. Glodok Plaza management employees wore personal protective equipment (PPE) in the cleaning.

"The sweeping from our officers is in-house, internally accompanied by security as well, with permits. Of course with adequate PPE, clean up especially the big debris first," said Glodok Plaza marketing team, Angga Aditya to reporters, Sunday, January 19.

The Glodok Plaza fire point is located on the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors. However, currently building managers are still cleaning on the 1st floor, 2, GF, and LGF.

The floors that were cleaned, Angga admitted, were not burned. However, the fire resulted in damage to the ceiling on the 1st, 2nd floor of the GF, and LGF due to the large number of water discharges from the fire.

"So, our first focus is that the cleaning is accompanied by water and large debris disposal," explained Angga.

Angga continued, cleaning began when the search period for victims affected by the fire was still ongoing so that the recovery of the building would take place more quickly.

"Later, if in the future we have received the green light from related parties and also the feasibility test from the building, yes, it can be faster to personalize again in the future," he explained.
