JAKARTA - Three members of the Directorate of Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police underwent a trial of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) regarding the extortion of the 2024 Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) audience. All were found guilty and sentenced to demotion.
For the first alleged violator, namely AKP Century Jaya Harefa, who is the former Head of Unit 5 Sub-Directorate 3 of the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya. The KKEP trial assembly imposed a demotion sanction for 1 year.

Then, AKP Aryanindita Bagasatwika and AKP Derry Mulyadi. They were sanctioned with demotion for 8 years.
Sanctions were given to violators for being involved in a series of acts of extortion against extortion. They arrested Malaysian and Indonesian citizens who then asked for some money as a condition of release.
"During the process of applying for rehabilitation of drug abuse perpetrators, it was not carried out through the Integrated Assessment Team (TAT) and there was a request for money," said Erdi.
Even so, the three police officers appealed against the demotion decision handed down.
Previously, as many as 25 members of Polda Metro Jaya also underwent a KKEP trial. All suspected violators were found guilty and sanctioned.
Three of them, Kombes Donald Parlaungan Simanjuntak, AKP Yudhy Triananta Syaeful, and AKBP Malvino Edward Yusticia, were dishonorably dismissed (PTDH). In addition, several other members, such as Kompol Dzul Fadlan, Iptu SM, AKP Fauzan, and S, were subject to eight years of demotion.

Several other members also received demotion sanctions for five to eight years, including Bripka Ricky Sihite who was sentenced to five years of demotion, and Iptu Agung Setiawan with a demonstration sanction of six years.
Similar sanctions were also given to Brigadier Hendy Kurniawan, Iptu Jemi Ardianto, and Aipda Hadi Jhontua Simarmata who were sentenced to eight years of demotion. Meanwhile, Aipda Lutfi Hidayat was sentenced to a five-year demonstration.
Most recently, there was the name of Brigadier Muhammad who was sanctioned for demotion for three years. Then, Kompol Rio Mikael L. Tobing (RM) with a demotion sanction of eight years and Brigadier Andri Halim Nugroho (AHN) who was sanctioned with a five-year demotion.
