Toddler From Australia Dies In Bali's Villa Swimming Pool

A female toddler from Australia with the initials JAE, who was three years old, fell into a swimming pool at a villa on Jalan Beraban, Kerobokan Kelod Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.

Head of Public Relations of the Badung Police, Ipda Putu Sukarma, said the incident occurred on Thursday (16/1) at around 13.06 WITA.

"The body (has been) deposited at the funeral home at Darmayadnya Hospital in Denpasar," said Ipda Sukarma, Friday, January 17.

The witness saw the victim in the shallow pool without a buoy.

But some time later, this toddler fell into the swimming pool. This toddler died at the BIMC hospital.

"Furthermore, checking was carried out using the EKG (electrocardiogram) and the victim was declared dead at 13.58 WITA. Then from the BIMC Hospital, he contacted the hearse to be placed in the funeral home at Darmayadnya Hospital, Denpasar," he said.
