Daun Jatuh Presents Six Songs for Reflective Moments on EP Kini & Sampai Kapanpun

JAKARTA - The duo from Jakarta, Jalan Jatuh, which is fronted by Timothy and Verrel, started in 2025 by introducing extended play (EP) or the latest mini album titled Now & Until Alone.

This EP contains six songs that carry the main message to be more present in every second of life and enjoy the moment of the moment while continuing to hope and share happiness.

There are six songs that are EP material, one of which is entitled 'Tuk Singgah', which was released last November through collaboration with Prilly Latuconsina. While the other five songs are Now, Galasmu Filled, To Always Be Happy, 'Hopefully There's Still Time, and Until Whenever.

In its creative process, Timothy and Verrel explore inspiration from simple memories that are meaningful from their own experiences. For one thing, To Always Be Happy, as a track focus, reflect a new perspective on happiness in life.

"A lot of changes have happened to us, including the way we view music," Timothy said in a press release received by VOI, Friday, January 17.

"Recently, we realized that what we've been chasing so far is not something we really enjoyed. Simply put, we felt that we weren't so happy if our table was filled with sparkling crystals. We would rather have had our dining table filled with fresh fruits and vegetables that we picked directly from the garden behind the house," he continued.

Through this EP, Jalan Jatuh learns to appreciate small things that give true happiness. They realize that happiness is not only about great achievements, but also about the celebration of simple moments that are often missed.

"For us, this EP is a form of respect for time that teaches us not only to live life, but also really feel it," said Verrel.

"EP is a reminder that every second has beauty that deserves to be celebrated," he added.

Meanwhile, the work on EP lasted for six months, through collaboration with several parties, including Vinson Vivaldi as producer, Kamga Mo and Oendari as vocal directors, mixing by Ivan Gojaya, and mastering by Dimas Pradipta.

In addition, the visuals in EP Now & Up to time" are also enriched with the contribution of Green Suppression in making visualizers.

Furthermore, Timothy and Verrel saw that the EP this time was suitable to accompany listeners' reflective moments, such as when walking alone, brewing coffee in the morning, or enjoying the sunset after a long day. The songs in it are also suitable to accompany the journey, both physically and emotionally, for those who seek understanding life or calm in the midst of busy life.

For what will be done in the future, Jalan Jatuh Jatuh is working on new works without pressure to follow certain release formats. They want to follow the path of life and stay present like the message in this EP.
