Fasset Plans To Launch The First Crypto Zakat Program In Indonesia
JAKARTA - Fasset, a sharia-based crypto asset exchange platform in Indonesia, announced their big plan for 2025, by introducing the Crypto Zakat program.
This program aims to allow zakat payments using crypto assets, which will be a breakthrough innovation in Indonesia through Fasset.
"We are exploring a partnership with one of the amil zakat institutions in Indonesia to make this happen. Even so, we still have to ensure that all these steps are in accordance with regulations in Indonesia," said Mohammad Raafi Hossain as CEO of Fasset on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
In addition, Fasset will also not only focus on sharia-based crypto asset investment services, but also on public education about blockchain technology and its benefits.
As part of this commitment, Fasset plans to continue to strengthen cooperation with various parties, including governments, communities and financial institutions, in order to encourage a healthy and transparent crypto asset ecosystem in Indonesia.
"Through this approach, Fasset hopes to be a pioneer in creating inclusive sharia-based investment solutions, as well as having a positive impact on the development of the digital economy in Indonesia," concluded Raafi.
During 2024, Fasset will continue to innovate and improve its service features. Unlike the crypto asset exchange platform in general, Fasset launched a unique feature called Crypto Bundles last October.

This feature presents three crypto asset investment packages specifically designed to make it easier for investors in Indonesia to diversify their portfolios. With Crypto Bundles, investors can invest more practically, safely, and comfortably without the need to buy crypto assets one by one.
That same year, Fasset was also named the Best Crypto Asset Company and Blockchain at the 2024 Arabia Inc Business Awards.
Fasset also managed to establish a strategic collaboration with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, allowing millions of Indosat users to buy crypto assets directly through the myIM3 application.
