As A Result Of The Motorcycle Explosion, The Rongsok Area Of 400 Meters Hangus Caught Fire

JAKARTA - The 400-meter land that was used as a junk stall was burned down on Jalan Pendidikan RT 09/09, Pekayon Village, Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta, Thursday, January 16, 2025.

"The object caught fire. The fire was caused by a used motorbike explosion," said Head of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Muchtar Zakaria when confirmed.

Luckily, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of this fire incident. However, the owner of the stall with the initials L suffered a loss of around Rp. 10 million.

"The chronology, according to residents, initially there was an explosion on a used motorbike in the rongsok stall. Then there was an enlarged fire," he said.

A total of 3 fire engines were deployed to the location with 15 personnel. The process of extinguishing the fire ended at around 01.22 WIB.
