Not Officially Divorced, Baim Wong Is Comfortable To Enjoy The Role Of Father And Mother

JAKARTA - Baim Wong is currently undergoing a divorce process with his wife, Paula Verhoeven. Unfortunately, in the middle of the divorce process, Baim's father, Johnny Wong, was declared dead.

Seeing this, Baim Wong admitted that after his father's departure, he wanted to have a calmer life without having a grudge against other people.

"Since the time my father died, I want to be calm. I don't want any sense of what, just each responsibility," said Baim Wong in the Ragunan area, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 15.

Although not officially divorced from Paula, Baim is enjoying his current role, not only as a father but also as a mother.

"If I was a father, maybe now I'd be a mother too, so I feel really good for me, really enjoy it," said Baim Wong.

Previously, Baim and Paula had differences of opinion regarding the care of their two children. Baim claims that he never forbade Paula to meet her child.

However, Paula through her attorney, Alvon Kurnia Palma felt the opposite way, where her contact with her two children seemed to be limited by Baim.

"Then the request from Ms. Paula until now she has not been able to meet the child. Not (just) not meeting but not being able to sleep, yes, it is basically intact as a mother with her child," said Alvon Kurnia Palma at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, December 18.

Not without reason, Alvon said the restrictions were felt because Baim only allowed Paula to meet her son at her husband's office.

Even though Paula has the desire to spend time with her child in various places other than in the office.

"For example (we) signal that the office is a limitation, it's only there, that's called a restriction," said Alvon.

"If it's okay, anywhere, it's not a restriction. If it's okay there (the office), the other can only be there. Apart from being in that place, isn't it okay?," he said.
