Ford Showcases RTR Mustang At Detroit Auto Show 2025, What's The Excess?

JAKARTA - A well-known automotive manufacturer from the United States (US), Ford participated in the Detroit Auto Show which took place on January 10-20. One of the vehicles brought by this brand is the RTR Mustang.

According to Ford, this car is a performance-focused version of the EcoBoost engine coupled with equipment from the Dark Horse type. The RTR Mustang was developed in a collaboration between the manufacturer and the tuning company owned by drifter total Gittin Jr, RTR Vehicles.

Reporting from Carscoops, Tuesday, January 14, the spotlight on the RTR Mustang consists of a more extensive backwing to increase downforce and a set of Hyper Lime Brembo brakes to ensure this car has high performance.

The Ford Mustang RTR is displayed with an exterior enveloped by a camouflage pattern with a striking neon yellow accent.

Not only in terms of aerodynamics, the car also has style changes such as RTR-type LED DRL lights which are integrated on both sides of the front grip. Then, the front bumper is more aggressive along with an exclusive RTR' badge.

The RTR Mustang also features several features such as the Electronic Drift Brake that RTR and Ford have developed. This feature debuted in the seventh generation Mustang, offering handbrake drivers inspired by rally competitions.

The interior change is still unknown, but it is estimated that there are many special RTR' badges on the inside.

Ford is still silent about its performance, but it is certain that this car is not equipped with a V8 engine but an EcoBoost with a more compact 4-cylinder configuration. The manufacturer also equipped it with a turbocharged system that provides high-performance driving pleasure.

As an illustration, the Ford Mustang with a 4-cylinder 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine has a power of up to 315 hp and a peak torque of 475 Nm, in addition to a V8 type offer with a capacity of 5.0 liters and 5.2 liters.
