6.6 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Japan's Kyushu

JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 hit the Kyushu region, Japan. The European Mediterranean Seismological Center said the earthquake occurred at a depth of 37 km (23 miles).

There have been no reports of the impact of the Japanese earthquake on Monday, January 13.
