Ketum PBNU Asks For PSN Project At PIK 2 To Be Reviewed Because There Are Many Complaints

Chairman of PBNU Yahya Cholil Staquf asked the National Strategic Project (PSN) at Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 (PIK 2) to be studied more deeply because his party received many reports and complaints from the public.

"We also received reports from residents in the PIK 2 project area. There are many complaints and some of them are legal issues," said Gus Yahya as he was quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 13.

The polemic against PSN in PIK 2 continues to reap the pros and cons in society. There are those who support it, some who firmly reject it.

One of those who refused was the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) which explicitly asked for the project to be stopped, because there were still legal problems that had not been resolved.

For PBNU, said Gus Yahya, the PSN project in PIK 2 is a project that is in direct contact with the wider community, including regarding their rights.

"So I think this needs to get a deeper study on, first how to project in the future or the vision of this project," said Gus Yahya.

In addition, according to him, it is also necessary to see how the management of the project has been. Because, according to him, there are still problems in the work based on community reports.

"Because we see from what has been done so far, according to community reports there are indeed various problems," said Gus Yahya.

"Yes, this must be seen more deeply, so that there are no actions that injure people's rights," he said.

Previously, MUI asked the government to stop the construction of PSN at PIK 2 considering that there were still things that had not been completed, both in terms of licensing and compensation.

"So far, we have asked for the results of the Mukernas to be stopped. Because there are more problems," said MUI Secretary General Amirsyah Tambunan.
