PIK 2 Denies Building Fences In The Tangerang Sea

JAKARTA - The management of the developer of the Pantai Indah Kosambi (PIK) 2 area, denied building a sea fence made of bamboo in the waters of the north coast (Pantura) of Tangerang Regency, Banten.

"That has nothing to do with us, later by the attorney who will convey it with a follow-up," said PIK 2 Management Toni as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, January 12.

He said the development of a new city area in PIK 2 is currently still ongoing in several coastal areas north of Tangerang to the Kronjo District area.

However, with the polemic regarding the accusation that the bamboo fence was built by PIK 2, it was not true.

In fact, this needs to be separated between the National Strategic Project area and non- PSN or commercial.

"There are four things that I need to say to resume all the news. The first is that PSN and PIK 2 are 2 different things. PIK 2 itself is a real estate-oriented project that has been running since 2009," he said.

That way, said Toni, the development of the PIK area that has been carried out since 2009 will run before the determination of PSN by President Joko Widodo in 2024.

"This means that PIK 2 has started through the permit that has been received since 2009. Meanwhile, this PSN is an area outside the PIK 2 planning, which from 2009 is running outside and it is part of the integrated PIK 2 starting March 2024," he said.

According to him, since the decision of the PSN PIK2 area covering an area of 1,800 hectares based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, the development of the PIK and PSN areas is two different things.

"So, since it was decided that there is an area on the outside of the PIK 2 area which was previously used as PSN. The total area is approximately in the 1800s hectares. So first is PIK 2 and PSN 2 things are different. That must be underlined," he said.

Then, this national strategic project is purely an investment from the private sector, namely from the developer of the PIK 2 area under the auspices of PT Agung Sedayu Group. Where, the investment value of PIK 2 in PSN north coast of Tangerang is worth IDR 39.7 trillion.

"Our investment in PSN PIK 2, Rp39.7 trillion is purely from us. So none or the slightest APBN funds are included in the PSN PIK 2 project," he said.
