Not In Accordance With The RPJPN, Prabowo Can Revoke The Status Of PSN In The Jokowi Era
JAKARTA Public policy observer, Riko Noviantoro asked President Prabowo Subianto to evaluate all National Strategic Projects (PSN) under the era of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
According to him, many PSNs cause agrarian conflicts in the community where the land is taken over by the state. In addition, there are also allegations that PSN developers are annexing the sea, as is currently in the spotlight on the coast of Tangerang recently.
"Prabowo must evaluate all national strategic programs that began in the Jokowi era," said Riko, Sunday, January 12, 2025.
In addition, evaluations must be carried out considering that the PSN implemented was proven inappropriate and referred to the National Long-Term Development Plan or RPJPN. Whereas it should be, the government's future development plan is through RPJPN which does not contain PSN.
He emphasized that the presence of PSN has caused a lot of unhealthy social conflicts in the development process and has the potential to result in long grudges for the community.
Moreover, PSN only adheres to the legal umbrella in the form of Presidential Regulations (Perpres), poor public studies and participation as well as other stakeholders.
President Prabowo can easily revoke the status of PSN. While this is not only RPJPN, it is only purely the authority of the President himself, then immediately cancel it," said Riko.

As is known, recently the emergence of a 30.16 kilometer long sea fence on the coast of Tangerang Regency, Banten shocked the public.
It is suspected that this fence is for the construction of the PIK 2 national strategic project (PSN).
However, PIK 2's attorney, Muannas Alaidid, denied that his party was the builder of the sea fence.
According to him, the sea fence made of bamboo is an ordinary sea embankment which is the result of community initiatives and self-help and functions to break the waves and be used by the surrounding community as fish ponds nearby.
