Background Of Gapeka Changes

Anne explained, there are various factors behind the change in Gapeka from 2023 to 2025. This includes the existence of a double route built by the DJKA Ministry of Transportation, the addition of passenger trains and new goods trains.

In addition, continued Anne, the extension of routes such as the Kreunggeukeuh-Kutablang-Muara Satu route, as well as the acceleration of travel time for train trips.

"Gapeka adjustment is also carried out to increase the reliability of operating patterns in Commuter Line, Airport Train, Prameks, and Feeder Train as well as increase the speed of infrastructure and stations," he said.

Anne said that people can buy tickets for train departures starting from D-45, so that departures on February 1, 2025 can be purchased through the Access by KAI application, the kai.id website, or all ticket sales channels that officially cooperate with KAI.

KAI appeals to customers with departures on February 1, 2025 and so on to pay attention to the schedule listed on the ticket, so as not to miss the train because it is already in effect for Gapeka 2025.

"We hope that with the implementation of Gapeka 2025, train customers will increase through various service improvements such as shorter travel times, increasing the number of train trips, and others," concluded Anne.
