Pekanbaru-XIII Toll Tariff Koto Kampar Toll Road Will Soon Rise

PEKANBARU - In order to improve the quality of service and sustainability of the Pekanbaru-XIII toll road management Koto Kampar, Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary of PT Hutama Karya, Adjib Al Hakim said Hutama Karya would immediately apply an increase in toll rates.

"This tariff adjustment will take effect immediately after being socialized intensively to the public, through print media, online media, banners, billboards displayed along the toll road," said Adjib Al Hakim, to the media in Pekanbaru, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, January 11.

He said the tariff adjustment was made based on the Decree (SK) of the Minister of Public Works (PU) number 3127 of 2024 set on December 24, 2024, along with the Nataru national holiday.

During the Nataru holiday, he said, public interest in using the high toll road was marked by daily traffic volume, an average of up to 25 percent compared to the same moment in 2023.

"The increase in traffic volume also occurred in non-voltage I vehicles by 10 percent, meaning that the existence of this expressway supports the acceleration of economic development in this area," he said.

In addition to encouraging the acceleration of economic development, PT Hutama Karya also continues to strive to create an beautiful area on the left and right of the toll road by planting more than 1,000 trees as the company's commitment to the environment.

The existence of toll roads has even become a blessing for Riau, he said, regarding many workers from Riau filling new job opportunities.

He detailed the new tariff for the Pekanbaru-XIII Koto Kampar toll road, namely, the Pekanbaru route to Bangkinang: Group I rose from IDR 33,500 to IDR 44,000, Group II & III from IDR 50,500 to IDR 66,000, and Group IV & V from IDR 67,000 to IDR 87,500.

Pekanbaru to XIII Koto Kampar, class I increased from Rp. 60,000 to Rp. 78,000, class II & III vehicles from Rp. 89,500 to Rp. 117,000, and class IV & V from Rp. 119,500 to Rp. 156,000. Bangkinang to Pekanbaru, class I vehicles rose from Rp. 33,500 to Rp. 44,000, class II & III from Rp. 50,500 to Rp. 66,000, and class IV & V from Rp. 67,000 to Rp. 87,500.

From XIII Koto Kampar to Pekanbaru, for class I vehicles rose from Rp. 26,000 to Rp. 34,000, Group II & III from Rp. 39,500 to Rp. 51,000, and Group IV & V from Rp. 52,500 to Rp. 68,500. Vehicles passing from Bangkinang to XIII Koto Kampar for class I rose from Rp. 26,000 to Rp. 34,000, class II & III from Rp. 39,500 to Rp. 51,000 and Group IV & V from Rp. 52,500 to Rp. 68,500.
