Subaru Introduces S210 Prototype At Tokyo Auto Salon 2025, 500 Units Available

JAKARTA - One of the automotive manufacturers from Japan, Subaru officially participated in the Tokyo Auto Show 2025 which took place at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan on January 10-12.

In the annual event, the manufacturer, which is synonymous with blue, brought a number of models from the Subaru Technica International (STI) division and one of them was the S210 Prototype.

Launching from the manufacturer's website, Saturday, January 11, the model was designed by combining technology and knowledge inspired by Nurburgring 24 Hours.

The WRX S4-based SRX STI Sport R EX, which is developed based on racing cars and offers maneuverability to allow drivers to control the car at will.

The car gets some high-performance equipment such as Michelin 255/35R19 tires which are known to have high grips, STI performance rims, custom-tuned electronic control and coil springs, and the latest rear-stabilizer bushing.

In addition, the S210 has a Brembo 6-pot front cross-section, special brake pads, and front and rear hole rotors are combined. Together with a custom-tuned electric booster, a braking system with excellent control has been realized.

Several aerodynamic confinements were also presented at S210 such as the recently developed STI Sport Side Garnish and the STI carbon back spoiler to regulate airflow and achieve better control.

The interior is equipped with an 8-way Recaro electric seat which has just been developed on a carbon back so that it provides a better level of comfort.

Then, the inside is based on black to offer space where the driver can concentrate on the driver, coupled with red for more prominent effects.

This car is equipped with a FA24 2.4 liter horizontally-opposed 4-cylinder DOHC direct injection turbo engine, thus providing a 300 ps power boost and 375 Nm torque combined with the Subaru Performance Transmission.

Subaru confirmed the limited available S210 was only 500 units and its sales were carried out in a draw and announced in the spring of this year.
