Megawati Brings Redmen To Record A Concrete Victory Record

JAKARTA - Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi managed to help Redmen to win the most consecutive wins in the club's history in the South Korean Volleyball (V-League).

The note was made when they beat GS Caltex dramatically 3-2 (25-23, 25-27, 25-22, 20-25, 15-12) at the Jangchung Gimnasium, South Korea, on Friday, January 10, 2025, western Indonesia time.

This is their ninth successive victory of the season in the South Korean volleyball league's highest caste. The record is the most in the club's long history.

Megawati and her friends managed to get past the record eight consecutive wins that previously occurred in 2008. In this match Megawati also became the top scorer with 33 points.

Redmen have recently been in their best form. This team last lost against AI Pepper on 27 November 2024.
