BMKG Predicts Light Rain Today's Weather In Almost All Regions Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in most areas in Indonesia has the potential to rain with light intensity today, Saturday, January 11.

"Today there is the potential for light rain in the cities of Medan and Pekanbaru," said Prakirawan Zhenny M Husnah on the BMKG Youtube channel, quoted by Antara.

The public needs to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in Tanjung Pinang and Padang cities.

Meanwhile, the weather in Jambi, Lampung, and Pangkalpinang cities has the potential to rain with light intensity.

Rainy weather accompanied by lightning is predicted to occur in the cities of Bengkulu and Palembang.

"Starting to Java, on Saturday, light rain is forecast in Serang City, Jakarta, Bandung, and also Yogyakarta," said the forecaster.

Then there is the potential for moderate intensity rain in the cities of Semarang and Surabaya.

"On the islands of Bali and Nusa Tenggara, today there is the potential for light rain in Mataram City," he said.

The public is asked to be aware of the possibility of rain accompanied by lightning in Denpasar and Kupang cities.

For the island of Kalimantan, there is the potential for light rain in the cities of Palangka Raya and Samarinda.

Meanwhile, rainy weather accompanied by lightning is predicted to occur in Pontianak, Banjarmasin, and Tanjung Selor cities.

On the island of Sulawesi, there is the potential for light rain in the cities of Manado and Kendari.
