Bahlil Leaks Muhammadiyah Managing The Mining Of This Former Company
JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia gave the latest news regarding mining land that will be managed by Muhammadiyah religious organizations.
Bahlil said Muhammadiyah would manage the mine of the former Coal Mining Concession Work Agreement (PKP2B) owned by PT Adaro Energy Tbk.
"Muhammadiyah has now gone down (IUP) too. Already positive use ex-Adaro. Ex Adaro. It's positive for Muhammadiyah," said Bahlil briefly to the media crew at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Friday, January 10.
However, Bahlil did not provide further details regarding the location and area of the mining area to be managed by Muhammadiyah. Bahlil also did not mention how many reserves were in the area.
Previously, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources had also issued an IUP for the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) religious organization that manages the former PKP2B land of PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC).
The Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board has also formed a business entity PT Berkah Usaha Muamalah Nusantara (BUMN) which will manage coal mines in East Kalimantan.
