LRT Jakarta Phase 1B Progress Reaches 42.3 Percent
JAKARTA - Director of the Jakarta LRT Project Phase 1B PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), Ramdani Akbar revealed the progress of the construction of the 1B Phase Jakarta LRT line. As of the end of December 2024, development progress reached 42.3 percent.
Ramdani said this progress was still in line with the set target. However, he admitted that his party faced various challenges in the development area, such as weather conditions and traffic congestion.
"We are trying to continue to accelerate our work and also work safety, but still maintain quality so that this project is completed on time in August 2026," said Ramdani in his statement, Friday, January 10.
Currently, the work at Rawamangun Station has entered the architectural completion stage (floor, wall, and fasad), MEP work (toilet and installation of escalators), and construction of connecting bridges on the east side of the station.
Then at the BPKP Scout Station, Pramuka Market, and Matraman Station, it has now reached the stage of completing the foundation, to proceed to the bridge support pole stage.
"In the Tambak Street area, 10 span bridge blocks (P147B-P157B) have been installed and also casting slabdecks and parapets are being carried out," explained Ramdani.

In the construction work process on Jalan Pemuda, Rawamangun on the north and south sides is also in the process of starting the box girder (SBG) which will pass the Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road.
Meanwhile, SBG P34B-P35B is in the process of installing it from December 20, 2024 to January 23, 2025 at window time, which is 22.00 04.00.
"This work requires the closure of part of the route on Jl. Pemuda, Rawamangun on the north and south sides to ensure the safety of workers and road users during the activity," he explained.
The 1B phase Jakarta LRT has a 4.6 kilometer line span which has 5 stations, namely Rawamangun Youth Station, BPKP Scout Station, Matraman Station Scout Market Station, and Manggarai Station.
So far, as many as 6 LRT stations have operated with a length of 5.2 kilometers in phase 1, namely Pegangsaan Dua, North Boulevard Station, South Boulevard Station, Pulomas Station, Equestrian Station, and Velodrome Station.
So, if phase 1B has been built, the Jakarta LRT has a route length of 12.2 kilometers with 11 stations ranging from Pegangsaan Dua Station to Manggarai Station. It is estimated that the journey from Pegangsaan Dua to Manggarai can be reached for 26 minutes.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government targets the Jakarta Phase 1B LRT to be completely completed for three years until August 2026.
