Indonesia Makes History In The Sports Of The Aerospace Of BASE Jump
JAKARTA Indonesia has succeeded in making a new history in the field of sports against BASE Jump with the Red Bull Blue and Silver fostered athlete, Frederic Fugen.
Frederic made two BASE jumps in a row from Autograph Tower in Jakarta as high as 385 meters. This is the highest building in Indonesia as well as in the southern hemisphere.
Frederic's action was not only a personal achievement for him, but also places Jakarta as a new location point in the world of challenging sports.
"With BASE jumps generally done from buildings, cliffs, or mountains, all of which are in Indonesia, this country can host BASE jump events that can encourage the growth of this sport in the future," said Frederic.
Frederic has more than two decades of experience in aerospace sports and has set various records, including BASE jumps from the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa, in 2014.

This historic moment is also a great pride for the managers of Autograph Tower and Thamrin Nine as a whole.
"Autograph Tower, the tallest building in Indonesia and the southern hemisphere, has now become a stage for world-class achievements."
"This BASE jump marks a new milestone, not only for this building, but also for Indonesia in proving its capacity for world-class innovation," said Amaz Gouw as Associate Marketing Director of Men's Style Wahana.
The success of this historic event is not only thanks to individual abilities, but also to the support of the Red Bull, Indonesian Air Force, Police, and various communities in the country.
As part of the event, there was also a coaching clinic session between Frederic Fugen, the Indonesian Air Force's Aero Sport Indonesia (FASI) Potential Development team, and the Indonesian Aero Sports Federation (FASI).
"BASE jump is indeed one sport that is quite challenging so that interest and adrenaline alone are not enough, but also requires careful preparation and planning, as well as strong courage and mentality," said Head of the Indonesian Air Force's Aerospace Potential Center, Marsma Tyas Nur Adi.
Frederic is one of the most talented and innovative skydivers, wingsuit pilots, and BASE jumpers in the world. In his career for more than 20 years, he has done more than 20 thousand aerospace actions.
He made his first solo jump in 1996 when he was 16 years old. Since then, his feet rarely touch the ground. As someone who has always been a pioneer, Fugen began competing in freeflying.
In 2004, he joined France's national freefly team and won his first World Championships in Brazil in the same year. He remains unbeaten at the World Championships level between 2004 and 2009.
