PSM Makassar Appeal Received, PSSI Komdis Sanctions Canceled
JAKARTA - The PSSI Appeal Committee (Komding) received an appeal note submitted by PSM Makassar against the PSSI Disciplinary Committee (Komdis) regarding the excess players in the field. This then canceled the sanctions that had previously been imposed.
The certainty regarding PSSI's Komding which received the Makassar PSM appeal was conveyed by the Makassar PSM management through the club's official account. On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, they explained the contents of the PSSI Komding decision letter number 003/KEP/KB/BRI-LIGA 1/I/2025.
"PSSI Komdis Sanction No. 073/L1/SK/KD-PSSI/XII/2024 dated December 29, 2024, has been legally canceled based on the Decree (SK) of the PSSI Appeal Committee."

In addition, there was also a reduction of three points during the match against Barito Putera. This situation then made Juku Eja appeal.
However, before that, the reason Juku Eja was given was quite clear sanctions. The reason is, in the match against Barito Putera on December 22, 2024, PSM appeared with 12 players on the field ahead of the final minutes of injury time.
Although the match ended with a 3-2 victory for PSM, after the match things became chaotic because the referee seemed to let Juku Eja's 12 players be on the field.
The incident was then brought to the PSSI Komdis trial which later stated that PSM was guilty. The sanctions that were determined then made Juku Eja feel aggrieved until they chose to file an appeal.
PSM reasoned that it was not intentional for them to appear with 12 players. This incident, according to PSM, occurred due to negligence in the match equipment.
Muhammad Iqballudin, who was a reserve referee in the match, also admitted that he was negligent in carrying out the substitution procedure. He admitted his mistake and has apologized for the incident.
