Soon, Ronald Tannur's Lawyers And Mother Will Be Tried In Court
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has handed over the suspects Lisa Rachmat and Merizka Widjaja and evidence in the alleged bribery case and the gratification of Gregorius Ronald Tannur's acquittal to the Central Jakarta District Attorney. With this delegation, the two of them are getting closer to the trial process.
"It is true that stage 2 has been carried out at the Central Jakarta District Attorney," said Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar, to reporters, Thursday, January 9.
The second phase of the delegation was carried out on Wednesday, January 8. That way, Lisa Rachmat and Merizka Widjaja, who is the mother of Ronald Tannur, will soon face the trial process.
Because, with this delegation, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) at the Central Jakarta District Attorney will prepare an indictment before registering the case with the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court.
"After Phase II is carried out, the public prosecutor team will immediately prepare a indictment to transfer the a quo case file to the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court," said Harli.
In addition, the Director of Prosecution at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Sutikno said that after being transferred, the two suspects were detained in different places.
"The suspect Meirizka Widjaja is being held at the Salemba Rutan at the Attorney General's Office. Meanwhile, Lisa Rachmat is at the Pondok Bambu Rutan, East Jakarta," said Sutikno.

As a reminder, Lisa Rachmat is the attorney for the convict Ronald Tannur. In this case, his role was to bribe three judges from the Surabaya District Court, namely, Erintuah Damanik, Mangapul and Heru Hanindyo, so that his client was acquitted.
Meanwhile, Meirizka Widjaja played a role in preparing bribes. The value reached Rp1.5 billion. The money was handed over to Lisa Rachmat.
