KPK Confirms Evidence Confiscated From Hasto Kristiyanto's House Regarding Harun Masiku's Case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that the goods confiscated from the residence of the Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto are related to the bribery case for handling interim shifts (PAW) for members of the Indonesian House of Representatives and the obstruction of the investigation that is being handled.
This was conveyed by the Director of Investigation of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu when asked about the findings of records and flash drives at Hasto's house in the Bekasi, West Java and Kebagusan areas, South Jakarta. This forced effort was carried out on Tuesday, January 7.
"Of course, the electronic evidence and notes are related to the case we are handling," Asep told reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 8.
Even so, Asep did not specify where investigators got the flashdisk or the record. "So whatever we do the confiscation is related to the case," he said.
Previously reported, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto was named a suspect along with Donny Tri Istiqomah, who is a PDIP cadre and a lawyer as a suspect in alleged bribery related to the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the Indonesian House of Representatives. Both are said to have bribed Wahyu Setiawan who served as KPU Commissioner to smooth Harun Masiku's steps to parliament.

Hasto is also a suspect in the obstruction of the investigation. He is suspected of trying to obstruct the legal process, one of which is by asking Harun to damage his cellphone and run away after the arrest operation (OTT) was carried out.
During the investigation, investigators summoned a number of witnesses, such as the former Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) Ronny Sompie to former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan.
