KPK Detains Former Taspen President Director Antonius Kosasih Corruption Suspect Rp200 Billion
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) detained the former President Director (Managing Director) of PT Taspen (Persero), Antonius NS Kosasih today. This forced effort was made after investigators examined him as a suspect in alleged corruption related to fictitious investments.
"The KPK detained the ANSK suspect for the first 20 days starting from January 8 to January 27, 2025. The detention was carried out at the Red and White KPK Building Branch Detention Center," said KPK Investigation Director Asep Guntur Rahayu at a press conference at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 8.
This fictitious investment corruption at PT Taspen (Persero) was originally because the state-owned company wanted its performance to look good. The value also reached Rp1 trillion.
However, this process is suspected of violating the rules, causing state losses. He committed his actions with the President Director of PT Insight Investments Management, Ekiawan Heri Primaryanto.
"That the series of unlawful acts committed by the suspect ANSK together with the EHP suspect are suspected of having harmed state finances over the placement of PT Taspen's investment funds of Rp1 trillion in mutual funds RD I-Next G2 managed by PT IIM of at least Rp200 billion," he said.
The corruption incident began in 2016 and was related to the old-age savings program (THT). At that time, PT Taspen (Persero) bought a sukuk TSP Food II (SIAISA02) of Rp200 billion issued by PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food (TPSF), Tbk.
Furthermore, Pefindo issued an inappropriate rating to be traded on SIAISA02 idD for failing to pay coupons. However, this investment was then handled by PT Insight Investments Management even though it should not have been done.

Previously reported, KPK investigators confiscated a number of evidences related to the alleged corruption case of fictitious investment in PT Taspen (Persero). Among them are electronic evidence, a number of documents to money worth IDR 2.4 billion on October 31, 2024.
The money is a broker fee for PT Taspen's investment activities with Investment Managers that are not in accordance with the provisions. Then, investigators have also confiscated documents, letters and electronic evidence (BBE) which are suspected to have links to the investment case of PT Taspen (Persero) for the 2019 Fiscal Year.
The findings were obtained from searches at three locations on October 30, 2024 and October 31, 2024. The three locations are offices affiliated with PT Insight Investments Management (IIM) in the SCBD Jakarta area.
Then the house of one of the Directors of PT IIM located in Koja, North Jakarta and the house of one of the former Directors of PT Taspen in South Jakarta.
