Louis Van Gaal Not Becoming PSSI's Director Of Technology?
JAKARTA - The name Louis van Gaal emerged along with the change of coach for the Indonesian national team from Shin Tae-yong to Patrick Kluivert.
The former Manchester United manager is also rumored to be occupying the seat of PSSI Technical Director.
However, PSSI was reluctant to respond to the issue. Through PSSI Executive Committee (Exco) member Arya Sinulingga, the federation still does not want to divulge who will later occupy the seat of PSSI Director of Technology.
"Yes, I don't know, yes. Anyway, we (so far) don't know," said Arya Sinulingga.
The news about Van Gaal was even crowded in a number of foreign media who said he would accompany Patrick Kluivert to lead the Indonesian national team.

However, there was a rebuttal from Dutch football legend Ruud Gullit who said the position of Technical Director must make Van Gaal continue to travel. The former AC Milan player is not sure Van Gaal wants to do it.
Meanwhile, Arya Sinulingga said the task of PSSI's Technical Director must be able to build the philosophy of Indonesian football.
This means that the person must carry out talent tracing throughout Indonesia and launch a football philosophy according to the PSSI blueprint.
"Dirtek is not just overseeing Indonesian national team players. Dirtek must also be able to build a football philosophy. That means he must travel throughout Indonesia."
"He (must be) able to go anywhere. He can go to Aceh, he can go to Palembang, he can go to Kalimantan, he can go to Sulawesi, to share perceptions. It's not easy, we can't just appoint Dirtek just like that," said Arya again.
