Neymar Will Play Together Messi And Suarez Again?

JAKARTA - Brazilian striker Neymar Jr. has discussed a possible reunion with former Barcelona teammates, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

He hinted at anchoring into Inter Miami saying that football was full of surprises.

The 32-year-old player has a contract with Al Hilal until June 2025. There is routine speculation surrounding his future at the club given the lack of playing time since joining the Saudi Arabian League Pro team.

Neymar suffered an ACL injury while serving in the Brazilian National Team shortly after moving to Arab Saud.

His return to the field was also plagued by minor injuries as he tried to restore his fitness.

"Of course playing again with Messi and Suarez will be amazing. They are my friends, we are still talking to each other."

"It will be interesting to revive this trio. I am happy at Al Hilal and in Saudi Arabia, but who knows. Football is full of surprises," Neymar told CNN Sport.

Meanwhile, Messi and Suarez revived their great cooperation at Inter Miami in December 2023.

The two of them helped David Beckham's club win MLS Supporters Shield in 2024 and set a new record for the most regular-season points in the league.

The former Paris Saint-Germain star also discussed his chances of playing in the 2026 World Cup which was held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

"I'll try. I want to be there. I know this will be my last World Cup, my last chance, my last chance."

"I will do whatever I can to play there," said Lionel Messi.
