Complication, Former Governor Of North Maluku Abdul Gani Kasuba Undergoes Medical Care At Ternate Hospital
TERNATE - Former Governor of North Maluku Abdul Gani Kasuba (AGK) is currently a defendant in the case of the KPK's arrest operation (OTT) undergoing intensive treatment at the Army Hospital (RST) Ternate City.
AGK's attorney, Hairun Rizal, said his client still needed intensive medical treatment because his condition worsened due to his illness, even experiencing complications.
"The pain suffered has complications ranging from the heart, nerves, internal diseases, hypertension and others, causing AGK to have weaker conditions," said Hairun as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 8.
Since Tuesday (7/1) the former governor of the two terms has been treated at the Jailolo Room Pavilion on the second floor of the hospital. AGK was seen lying limp and seemed to be accompanied by his family alternately.
In addition, the age factor is getting older, said Hairun, so that AGK treats more doctors as much as possible until they recover completely.
"His physical condition really has to be treated intensively in the form of monitoring, both by the team of doctors and the family," he said.
With his increasingly concerning condition, AGK will be hospitalized until he recovers completely, after which he can only be returned to the Ternate Class IIB Detention Center for legal proceedings.
"We hope, pray and hopefully he will recover completely quickly so that he can face the entire legal process that is ongoing until it is finished. So that there is no more burden," said Harun.
"So indeed this treatment must be focused, treatment is really carried out optimally, so that he can recover completely. If he has recovered in total, we will still go to the detention center to complete the legal process until it is finished," said Hairun.
