The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Is Claimed By Hasto's Lawyer To Find Nothing When Searching The Good House
JAKARTA - PDI-P Secretary General (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto's attorney, Johannes Oberlin Tobing, claimed that investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) did not find anything while searching his client's house in Kebagusan, South Jakarta. He questioned the forced attempt.
"There were several hours the KPK conducted a search but they found nothing. There was no evidence related to Harun Masiku's case," Johannes told reporters, Wednesday, January 8.
Johannes then explained that Hasto's house in Kebagusan, South Jakarta was actually just a place to stop. "So it's rarely occupied," he said.
"So my question to the KPK is what exactly do you want to look for from Mr. Hasto's house," continued this lawyer.
This question arose because Johannes considered Hasto not a state administrator. Moreover, his client ensures that he will cooperate in fulfilling the KPK's summons after the PDIP Anniversary on January 10.
"Pak Hasto is not a minister, not a state official. It does not harm state finances but this case is always exaggerated, fried in such a way. Moreover, specifically on our 10th, before the PDI Perjuangam Anniversary. Soon we will hold a congress," he said.
"Well, so we suspect that this is purely a political matter, there are no legal cases," said Johannes.
The KPK searched two residences belonging to the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto on Tuesday, January 7. Apart from Bekasi, West Java, this forced effort was carried out in Kebagusan, South Jakarta until midnight.

Hasto has been named a suspect along with Donny Tri Istiqomah who is a PDIP cadre as well as a lawyer as a suspect in alleged bribery related to the management of the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
