Ministry Of Religion Issues 2025 Hajj Travel Plan, Congregants Start Entering Dormitory May 1
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) has issued a plan for Hajj 1446 Hijri/2025 after previously deciding on the Cost of Organizing Hajj (BPIH) with the Working Committee (Panja) Hajj Commission VIII DPR RI.
"May 1, 2025, pilgrims began to enter the Hajj dormitory. May 2, 2025, the beginning of the departure of the first batch of pilgrims from the country to Medina," said Director General (Dirjen) of Hajj and Umrah Implementation of the Ministry of Religion Hilman Latief in Jakarta, Wednesday, January 8, confiscated by Antara.
The government and the DPR have agreed on a BPIH 1446 Hijri/2025 with an average of Rp. 89,410,258.79. Of that amount, the Hajj Travel Fee (Bipih) paid for by the average congregation is Rp. 55,431,750.78.
The results of the agreement between the government and the DPR will be submitted to the President of the Republic of Indonesia for the issuance of the Presidential Decree on BPIH 2025, and then the process of paying off Bipih by pilgrims will be carried out.
Indonesia this year received 221,000 hajj quotas, consisting of 201,063 regular hajjes, 1,572 regional hajj officers, 685 guides to the Hajj and Umrah Guidance Group (KBIHU), and 17,680 special hajjes.
Hilman explained that the operational period for the departure and repatriation of pilgrims will last for 30 days. Meanwhile, the average residence of Indonesian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia is 41 days.
The Hajj Travel Plan 1446 H / 2025 M is as follows.
a. 1 May 2025 (3 Zulkaidah 1446), pilgrims for Hajj enter the Hajj dormitory.
b. May 2, 2025 (4 Zulkaidah 1446), the beginning of the departure of pilgrims for the first wave of Hajj from the country to Medina.
c. 11 May 2025 (13 Zulkaidah 1446), the beginning of the departure of pilgrims for the first wave of Hajj from Medina to Makkah.
