Dor! Police Shoot Troubled HP Snatchers With Bow Capital In Makassar

MAKASSAR - The police forcefully arrested the perpetrator who was armed with iron arrows or what is known as a bow on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Makassar, South Sulawesi.

When arrested, the perpetrator with the initials He (18) was shot by police for trying to escape by pushing the police while he was being secured.

"The perpetrator tried to run away by pushing the officer, the police gave warning three times. But the perpetrator did not heed it so the police took firm action to shoot the perpetrator's left leg," said Head of Public Relations of the Panakkukang Police, Bripka Ahmad Halim, confirmed by VOI, Friday, April 16.

The perpetrator was arrested because he was involved in a theft case with three of his colleagues who are still being sought by the police. The perpetrator grabbed the cellphone on Jalan dr Leimena, Makassar.

"This case originated from a citizen's report. From his confession, the perpetrator acknowledged and confirmed that he had committed violent theft by taking two cellphones," said Bripka Ahmad Halim.

During the arrest, the police found evidence of arrows and several cellphones. The perpetrator who was shot was taken to Bhayangkara Hospital. After that the perpetrator was brought to the police station.
