IBL Is Much More Observational To The 2025 Season
JAKARTA The Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) has much more mature preparations to face the second year of the home-coming match format in the 2025 season.
Director of IBL, Junas Miradiarsyah, during a Bank Mandiri Cooperation with the Indonesian Basketball League in Jakarta on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, said that currently all preparations were going well.
"This second year we are better prepared. There are 14 teams with 14 fields. There are also several new stadiums that have been prepared and interestingly for the long term teams are starting to think about making their own venues," said Junas.
The home-and-away format of the highest level of the Indonesian basketball league was first used last season. The implementation of this format makes the competition time run much longer.
Junas explained that the long competition journey that took place in many cities made the economic impact of the competition felt by the wider community.
