Drummer Mot Amazerhead Reveals A Disease That Almost Gets His Life Away
JAKARTA - Drummer MotZyrhead, Mikkey Dee, through his social media accounts, shared stories about his health condition during the holidays, which he said almost threatened his life.
Dee explained that he was hospitalized after suffering from a blood infection which he described as very serious.
"I was treated for three weeks, but now I'm at home fighting these bad bacteria," Dee said, citing a caption on Instagram, Monday, January 6.
"Fortunately, I have received fantastic treatment at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, my hometown," he continued.
The 61-year-old drummer thanked the entire medical team for handling it, including when it came into the operating room.
"So, thank you very much to all the doctors and nurses who have provided me with excellent care," he said.
"After some surgery, I am now returning home and everything is going in the right direction. There is still a lot of recovery and rehabilitation that I have to undergo."

Previously, to the media in Sweden, Dee told how he got into the hospital. He told me that what he initially felt was an ordinary sprain, quickly turned into something much worse the weekend before Christmas.
"My ankle swelled like hell, then it turned strange and looked like a ham that was too ripe," Dee said. "I got so sick that I had to go by ambulance to Sahlgrenska, and there they found that my grades were very high, so I became the top priority there."
"It was an immediate operation, the first of three operations. They cut what was dead, infected, and highly infected. It was not a good journey for me ... the next day and I will play drums with Lemmy in heaven. I can say that. ."
