Shin Tae-yong's Speculation Of Fate In The Middle Of Dismissal, Assistant Coach Opens Voice
JAKARTA - Assistant coach of the Indonesian national team, Nova Arianto opened his voice about speculation about the fate of the head coach, Shin Tae-yong. He is rumored to be ending the collaboration with the Garuda Squad.
The news about Shin Tae-yong being fired emerged after comments from an Instagram upload belonging to one of the PSSI Executive Members (Exco), Khairul Anwar. In uploads on his social media, Khairul bid farewell to the South Korean coach.
"Thank you STY for being together all this time, you remain part of the history of Indonesia's football transformation," Khairul Anwar wrote as quoted on Sunday, January 5.
Exco PSSI's comments suddenly became crowded because they felt this was a farewell. Many admit that they are disappointed if Shin's separation from the Garuda Squad is true.
In the midst of this news, Nova Arianto as the assistant coach also gave an answer when confirmed regarding the fate of Shin Tae-yong. The coach's right hand stated that there had been no discussion that led to the end of the coach's fate.
"That (about the fate of Shin Tae-yong) there has been no internal discussion of the team," Nova Arianto said when contacted on Sunday, January 5.
It was later discovered that the issue of Shin Tae-yong's dismissal from the Garuda Squad had been sticking out for a long time. However, the peak was attributed after the failure in the 2024 AFF Cup.
