KPK Is Blocked By Calculation Of State Losses, Detention Of Director Of PT ASDP Postponed

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has not yet detained the suspect in the alleged corruption in the business cooperation process (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero).

The forced effort is still waiting for the calculation of state losses carried out by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

However, a VOI source said the calculation of the state's losses was far from over. The assignment letter for the process has not even been issued by BPKP.

Meanwhile, when confirmed, KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika did not want to answer further about the information. He only emphasized that the final results of calculating state losses in this case were very much needed.

The anti-corruption commission has named four suspects even though it has not been officially announced. Based on the information obtained, they are the President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Ira Puspadewi; Harry MAC as Director of Planning and Development; Muhammad Yusuf Hadi as Commercial and Service Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero); and Adjie as the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara.

"Detention is still waiting for BPKP's calculation of state losses," said Tessa via text message, Friday, January 3.

Confirmation efforts against the process of calculating state losses in a number of cases at the KPK, including the alleged corruption in the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) have also been carried out against Muhammad Yusuf Ateh as the Acting Head of BPKP. However, there was no response until this news was broadcast.

In fact, the KPK leadership for the 2019-2024 period had mentioned that they would hold a meeting and asked BPKP to accelerate the calculation of state losses so that the legal process could be carried out immediately. This statement was made by Alexander Marwata while still serving as Deputy Chair of the KPK.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating allegations of corruption related to business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). The actions of the suspects are suspected of causing state losses of up to Rp1.27 trillion, but this figure could change because the calculation is still ongoing.

State losses arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara was carried out by crashing into a number of regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) bought the private company with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion in February 2022 and controlled 100 percent of its shares including 53 managed vessels.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission has carried out forced efforts in the form of confiscation of 23 property assets from October to December 2024. Dozens of lands and buildings are estimated to be worth IDR 1.2 trillion.
