Prayers In The New Year, Shin Tae-yong Hopes The National Team Qualifies For The World Cup
JAKARTA - Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae-yong wrote a prayer in the new year 2025 so that the Indonesian national team can qualify for the 2026 World Cup which will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
"Please full support for Indonesia to qualify for the World Cup," Shin wrote through his official Instagram account, Wednesday.
The prayer was said by the South Korean coach after Indonesia's move to the world's biggest football party felt so close.
In the third round, Indonesia closed in 2024 in third place in Group C standings with six points from six matches, 10 points behind unbeaten Japan and Australia with a distance of one point.
