Ji Chang Wook Says He Wants To Play Characters As A Doctor

JAKARTA - Ji Chang Wook admitted that he wanted to play a character as a doctor in his next drama or film project. This was revealed by Ji Chang Wook in an interview with Singles Magazine recently.

The 37-year-old actor said he did not want to miss any opportunities that came to him regarding dramas or films. He wants to continue to challenge himself in the world of acting.

Ji Chang Wook said that he still has many roles that he has not played, one of which is the doctor. He wants to play a doctor and show his fans.

"Surprisingly there are still many roles that I haven't played yet. For example, I've never played a doctor. There are many roles that I want to try and I really want to do it," said Ji Chang Wook.

However, Ji Chang Wook also does not deny that it is very exciting to star in a match genre drama or film. He is currently shooting his new drama genre of the match entitled The Manipulated.

"It seems like my heart is always changing. But filming The Manipulated I think it will be fun to shoot intense match dramas continuously, relentlessly from start to finish," he said.

Ji Chang Wook also admitted that he felt restless if his role in dramas or films did not present a challenge for him. He even thought he had acted carelessly if that happened.

"If one day I do a project and don't feel worried or feel struggling, I think I'm going to feel a little uncomfortable. I'm going to feel in crisis and think, 'did I work carelessly without thinking about everything carefully?' Of course I don't think that's ever going to happen," concluded Ji Chang Wook.

Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook himself is very active in starring in dramas and films throughout 2024. He has starred in three dramas, namely Welcome to Samdalri, Queen Woo, and Gangnam B-Side, as well as one film, namely Revolver.
