ATP Finals, Rafael Nadal's Absence Of Career
JAKARTA ATP Finals is the only important title absent from Rafael Nadal's career, a tennis player who just decided to retire in November 2024.
The Spaniard decided to hang up his racket at Davis Cup in November 2024. He closed his career by winning almost all the titles he could win.
Nadal mengakui bahwa penyelesaan terbesarnya adalah tidak pernah berhasil membawa pulang trofi ATP Finals dalam perjalanan kariernya yang begitu memajakan.
"Of course I want to win the ATP Finals one time. That's probably the only important event I've never won, that's all," Nadal was quoted as saying by Euro Sport.
Nadal played his last competitive match against Botic van der Zandschulp as Spain were eliminated against the Netherlands in the 2024 Davis Cup quarter-finals.

Nadal said that he was not hockey because the ATP Finals are usually held at the end of the season when his energy is drained. In addition, this event is also held in the field which is not a specialist in him.
"I played all the ATP Finals throughout my career on the indoor fast field, on the indoor hard field and at first on the indoor carpet field," he said.
The 36-year-old has closed his career with a total of 92 titles since entering competitive competition in 2001. He also holds a record 14 Grand Slam titles at Roland Garros.
The titles consist of 22 Grand Slam titles, 33 ATP Tour titles, and 36 Masters titles. Roland Garros' title was included in 63 trophies that Nadal won over clay.
Of the 116 matches since his 2005 debut at Roland Garros, Nadal has only lost four times. Nadal's dominance on clay earned him the nickname King of Clay aka the King of Tanah Lihat.
