President Prabowo Asks People To Be Patient Waiting For The Results Of Government Work
JAKARTA The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, asked the people to be patient in waiting for the results of various government work programs. The request was conveyed when the President attended the 2024 National Christmas Celebration which was held at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno complex, Jakarta, Saturday, December 28.
"On this occasion, I beg you once again all Indonesian people to be patient for a while. I understand that you are really tough to be patient," said President Prabowo in his speech.
The President explained that his government, which has been running for 2 months and 8 days, continues to strive to achieve the best results for the people. He likened the development process to planting crops, where careful preparation is needed so that the harvest is satisfactory.
"I don't want to deceive the people. It's like planting, we have to prepare land, find water, have good seeds, and take good care of plants. God willing, the harvest will be good," said the President.
President Prabowo revealed that his government faces various challenges, including efforts from certain parties to shake up the government. He emphasized his commitment to eradicating corruption and maintaining the integrity of the state apparatus.

The President also called on all government officials to clean themselves and run a clean government. "People demand a clean government. I emphasize, all Indonesian government officials, clean themselves up!" he exclaimed.
The 2024 National Christmas Celebration event has been lively since the afternoon, attended by a number of important figures, including Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Attorney General St. Burhanuddin, and TNI chiefs of staff.
