Liga 1 2024/2025 Results: Persik Wins 4-0 At Home To Borneo FC

JAKARTA - Persik Kediri managed to secure a big victory when he played the 17th week of Liga 1 2024/2025. Visiting Borneo FC headquarters, they managed to win a landslide victory with a score of 4-0.

In the match which took place at Batakan Stadium, Balikpapan, Friday, December 27, 2024, WIB night, both teams started the game at a tempo that was not too fast.

Both Borneo FC and Persik are both trying to read the opponent's movements at the start of the match.

Unfortunately, when the game had only been running for 19 minutes, Borneo FC was forced to appear with 10 players. This situation happened because Kei Hirose was given a red card directly by the referee.

In the midst of the limping Borneo situation, Persik Kediri used it to find a gap in scoring first. This effort did not go easy because the Pesut Etam defense was still strong enough.

The effort was only successfully carried out in the 36th minute, where Persik finally managed to take the lead after Borneo FC's Ronaldo Rodrigues made an own goal.

From this opening goal, no more points were created for both teams until halftime. The 1-0 advantage belongs to Persik Kediri.

Continued to the second half, Persik again managed to double the advantage over Pieter Huistra's team. Persik's second goal was made through Rifqi Farandi in the 50th minute.

Persik's second goal made Persik even more confident. This positive situation seems to bring back the advantage for Persik, who successfully scored the third goal.

The 3-0 score was created through Yusuf Meilana who used Jose Valente's pass. This third goal clearly made Borneo even worse.

Instead of being able to break the deadlock, Borneo was even more stuck. The reason is, Persik managed to score the fourth goal this time scored by Riyanto Abiyoso in the 86th minute.

Goals at the end of the match closed the White Tiger goal party at the opponent's headquarters. The additional three points made Persik move up to sixth in the 2024/2025 Liga 1 standings with a collection of 27 points. Meanwhile, Borneo took to the seventh stairs with 26 points.
