Pupuk Kaltim Books Production Realization Exceeds This Year's Target
JAKARTA - President Director of PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Pupuk Kaltim) Budi Wahju Soesilo said that his party posted that the realization of production exceeded the target this year.
In the last pocketing event in the Pupuk Kaltim warehouse area in Bontang, East Kalimantan, he said that this achievement was aimed at meeting the national fertilizer needs, in line with the government's target in Asta Cita to realize food self-sufficiency.
"We express our highest appreciation to all employees and people of Pupuk Kaltim, considering that this success will not be achieved without the hard work, dedication and commitment of all of us," said Budi Wahju Soesilo in his statement, quoted by Antara, Thursday, December 26.
He said that the company managed to achieve total urea fertilizer production of 3,321,969 tons, NPK fertilizer of 282,183 tons, ammonia of 2,691,912 tons, and ammonia of DDJ of 763,477 tons as of December 22, 2024.
Seeing the economic outlook for next year, he is also optimistic that the company can continue this positive momentum with the spirit of innovation and digital transformation.
Budi hopes that his party can continue to be at the forefront of supporting national food security and having a positive impact on the community, state and environment.
"The year 2025 is a momentum to continue the journey with more enthusiasm. Not only on increasing production, but also digital transformation and technological innovation," he added.
Pupuk Kaltim has ensured the availability of 286,771 tons of subsidized fertilizer for the planting period at the end of 2024 to March 2025.

The available subsidized fertilizer stock consists of 216,055 tons of urea fertilizer, 55,932 tons of PHonska NPK fertilizer, and 14,784 tons of Special Formula NPK.
In addition, Pupuk Kaltim also provides 305,470 tons of non-subsidized urea fertilizer and 15,521 tons of non-subsidized NPK. All of these stocks are distributed to all areas of responsibility for Pupuk Kaltim, namely all of Kalimantan and Sulawesi.
