Investigate The Bribery Case Of Ronald Tannur, The Attorney General's Office Examines South Tangerang BPN Officials

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) is examining the Head of Land Section (Kasi) of the South Tangerang City Land Agency (BPN) with the initials WH. The examination was related to the alleged bribery case against three judges of the Surabaya District Court (PN) in the Ronald Tannur case.

"Investigated in Jakarta related to the investigation of the criminal conspiracy case of corruption in bribery and / or gratification in handling the case of the convict Ronald Tannur," said Head of the AGO's Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum), Harli Siregar in his statement, Wednesday, December 25.

Apart from BPN officials, the AGO has also examined DCA, who is the son of a former retired Supreme Court (MA), Zarof Ricar.

He said the examination of these two witnesses was related to two people who had been named as suspects in the case, namely Lisa Rahmat and Zarof Ricar.

"The witness examination was carried out to strengthen the evidence and complete the filing in the case," he said.

Previously, the AGO had named six people as suspects. In addition to the three judges, the other suspects are Lisa Rahmat (lawyers), Zarof Ricar (former Supreme Court officials), and Meirizka Widjaja, the mother of Ronald Tannur.

Meirizka is suspected of giving bribes worth Rp3.5 billion to the judges with the aim of getting his son, Ronald Tannur, to be acquitted in a murder case.
