Reach 112.16 Percent, Indonesian Coal Production Reaches 796.32 Million Tons

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) through Mineral One Data Indonesia (MODI) reported the achievement of Indonesia's coal production.

As of December 24, 2024, it was recorded that Indonesia's coal production had reached 796.32 million tons or reached 112.16 percent of the 2024 production target.

"The production plan is 710 million tons, the production realization is 796.32 million tons, the percentage of production is 112.16 percent," wrote MODI data quoted on Tuesday, December 24.

The realization of exports in 2024 is recorded to have reached 409.45 million tons or has reached 83.56 percent of the target set in 2024 of 490 million tons.

Meanwhile, the realization of the Domestic Market Obligation (DMO) only reached 162.03 million tons or 89.32 percent of the target set at 181.30 million tons.

On the part of the realization of state revenues, MODI noted that the realization of state revenues from the mineral and coal sector had reached Rp136.79 trillion or had exceeded the target of up to 120.47 percent of the initial target set at Rp113.54 trillion.
