DPRD Will Summon The Culture Service In The Aftermath Of Alleged Corruption In Fictitious Activities
Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Khoirudin, said that his party would summon the ranks of the DKI Jakarta Culture Service in the aftermath of alleged corruption cases in fictitious activities with an activity value of Rp150 billion.
"Of course we will officially call for dialogue to get real information, which is objective. What happened," Khoirudin told reporters, Sunday, December 22.
The DPRD will also summon the ranks of the DKI Jakarta Inspectorate on the same agenda so that the process of extracting information on this case becomes more comprehensive, and ensures that similar incidents do not happen again. Bearing in mind, the Inspectorate is tasked with fostering and supervising the implementation of local government.
"Hopefully in the future we all remind each other. Especially the tasks of the Inspectorate can be done early, so that this does not happen again in the future," explained Khoirudin.
The plan is that the summons of the Secretary of the Culture Service and his staff as well as the Inspectorate of DKI will be scheduled for early January or after the 2025 New Year holiday.
Before this case surfaced, Khoirudin admitted that he did not have any presumption of the Department of Culture's budget irregularities.

This is because the DKI Jakarta Inspector and the Assistant Inspector at the city level should be able to ensure that ASN, especially officials within the DKI Provincial Government, carry out government programs properly.
"So far, we have considered that it is fine. It turns out that there are indications. Of course, our law enforcement officers are acting, acting, there is initial data that underlies it. I support law enforcement carried out by law enforcement officers," he said.
The DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office searched the office of the DKI Jakarta Culture Service on Wednesday, December 18. The search was carried out starting at 10.40 WIB, starting from the room of the Head of the Culture Service Iwan Henry Wardhana on the 15th floor and the room of the Head of Culture Utilization on the 14th floor.
Not only the offices of the Culture Service were searched, but also the houses of the Head of Culture Utilization and the offices of third parties or private parties, namely the EO GR-Pro office.
The basis for the raid is the alleged irregularity of activity funds sourced from the Budget of the Jakarta Special Regional Provincial Culture Office for the 2023 fiscal year with an activity value of approximately Rp150 billion.
"The search and confiscation of the handling of cases of alleged corruption in the form of irregularities in activities at the Jakarta Special Regional Provincial Culture Office," said Head of the Legal Information Section of the Jakarta Prosecutor's Office, Syahroni Hasibuan.
The DKI Prosecutor's Office confiscated Rp1 billion from the search. It was also confiscated by hundreds of fake stamps from a series of searches by the Jakarta Special Region Culture Office and four other locations.
From a temporary investigation, hundreds of fake stamps were used to make the impression of organizing an activity. Thus, the budget for the activities of the Jakarta Culture Service for the 2023 period can be disbursed.
"It is as if the activity is carried out as evidenced by the stamp to disburse the budget even though the fact is that there is absolutely no activity," he said.
Following up on this, the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi, disabled Iwan from his position as head of the service on Thursday, December 19. His position was temporarily replaced by the Secretary of the DKI Culture Service, Imam Hadi Purnomo as the daily executor.
