On 23rd Day, Israel Violated Ceasefire With Lebanon Up To 6 Times

JAKARTA - The Israeli army violated the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon six times on the 23rd day.

Since the ceasefire was announced on November 27, the total number of Israeli offenses has risen to 259 times, with 31 people killed and 37 injured during the incident.

Citing Antara, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) said Israeli forces destroyed houses in the southern Lebanese city of Kafr Kila, causing pronounced tremors throughout the area.

An Israeli drone was seen flying over the city of Tyre, while the city of Alma al-Shaab near the border was targeted by Israeli troops, NNA said.

Houses in the Tayr Harfa area were also bombed, and Israeli military bulldozers destroyed houses in the city of Naquoura.

Data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health indicates that since the Israeli attack in Lebanon began on October 8, 2023, at least 4,061 people have died, including 1,106 women and children and 222 health workers, while 16,661 others were injured.

A fragile ceasefire has been in effect since November 27 between Israel and Lebanon following several months of military operations.

The conflict escalated after the Lebanese Hezbollah group provided support to the Gaza Strip following an attack on Israel by the Palestinian Hamas resistance group on October 7, 2023.
